The Joomla!Day UK 2010 team

Organinsing a Joomla!Day UK event takes an awful lot of time, effort, and tea!  The team consists of a committed group of core members who meet on a regular basis alongside our regular user group commitements to ensure that the workload is spread evenly across the group, and provide the ultimate in Joomla!Day experience for all delegates attending the event.

Matt Meyrick

Events Manager

Responsible for event management, audio visual systems, technical equipment and mulitmedia resources, Matt is able to advise on a range of issues relating to running events.  With extensive experience in theatrical productions, Matt is well organised and calm in a crisis!

Ruth Cheesley

Operations Manager

Responsible for day to day management, public relations, marketing and web development, Ruth manages the web presence of Joomla!Day UK 2010.  Ruth has worked in both the public and private sector IT fields and has a wide range of experience in the business world through running her own business.

Chris Craddock

Finance Manager

Responsible for financial management, event bookings, procurement and sponsor relations, Chris is the man with the calculator in his back pocket and very good negotiation skills!  Chris has worked in the voluntary sector for many years, and has a lot of experience in financial matters including large scale fundraising events.
